Bij de kenners is Portofino niet onopgemerkt gebleven. Zij weten dat de Italiaanse delicatessen, de verse vis- en vleesgerechten en de pasta’s nergens in Hoorn beter smaken dan bij dit specialiteitenrestaurant. Bovendien betekent dineren in dit restaurant genieten in meer dan één opzicht.
